Hello Guys,
1. What Is IPv4?
IPv4 Is A Fourth Version Of Internet Protocol.
In Internet Protocol Version 4 IP Have Like 192.168.0.1. Meaning It's Have 4 Parts In IP Numbers.
Nowdays We Can't Access Internet Without Any IP. Every Internet User Have IP For Access Internet.
But Now Internet Provider Companies Don't Have Much More IP For IPv4. So Now Companies Going With IPv6. But Now It's In A Experimental Mode But In Some countries Users Now Can Get IPv6.
It IsOne Of The Core Protocols Of Standards-Based Internetworking Methods in the Internet, and was the first version deployed for production in the ARPANET in 1983. It still routes most Internet traffic today,[1] despite the ongoing deployment of a successor protocol, IPv6. IPv4 is described in IETF publication RFC 791 (September 1981), replacing an earlier definition (RFC 760, January 1980).
IPv4 is a connectionless protocol for use on packet-switched networks. It operates on a best effort delivery model, in that it does not guarantee delivery, nor does it assure proper sequencing or avoidance of duplicate delivery. These aspects, including data integrity, are addressed by an upper layer transport protocol, such as the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP).
IPv6 Is A Sixth Version Of Internet Protocol.
In Internet Protocol Version 6 IP Have Like For Example 2001:0db8:0000:0042:0000:8a2e:0370:7334.
It's A Most recent version Of IP And Upgraded version Of IPv4.
Today I Will Give You Information About Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4) And Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6). Read Properly Great Information About It.

IPv4 uses 32-bit addresses which limits the address space to 4294967296 (232) addresses.
IPv4 reserves special address blocks for private networks (~18 million addresses) and multicast addresses (~270 million addresses).
2.What Is IPv6?
In Internet Protocol Version 6 IP Have Like For Example 2001:0db8:0000:0042:0000:8a2e:0370:7334.
It's A Most recent version Of IP And Upgraded version Of IPv4.
- Supports source and destination addresses that are 128 bits (16 bytes) long.
- Requires IPSec support.
- Uses Flow Label field to identify packet flow for QoS handling by router.
- Allows the host to send fragments packets but not routers.
- Doesn't include a checksum in the header.
- Uses a link-local scope all-nodes multicast address.
- Does not require manual configuration or DHCP.
- Uses host address (AAAA) resource records in DNS to map host names to IPv6 addresses.
- Uses pointer (PTR) resource records in the IP6.ARPA DNS domain to map IPv6 addresses to host names.
- Supports a 1280-byte packet size (without fragmentation).
- Moves optional data to IPv6 extension headers.
- Uses Multicast Neighbor Solicitation messages to resolve IP addresses to link-layer addresses.
- Uses Multicast Listener Discovery (MLD) messages to manage membership in local subnet groups.
- Uses ICMPv6 Router Solicitation and Router Advertisement messages to determine the IP address of the best default gateway.
Fast forward 2017 and ISPs are still on IPv4 but progressing towards IPv6 as the IPs runs out. Now there is a concept of dual stack ISPs that are running both IPv4 and IPv6. But most of the people now faces IP leaks issues especially those who are using VPN technology. It now comes down to checking pros and cons and deciding whether to block or not.
